Frequently asked
Will Gald3r ever charge for features that are free today?
The published public distributions currently use the FSL-1.1-Apache posture. We may add hosted services (cloud sync, team dashboards) as optional paid add-ons in the future, and private/internal repositories remain proprietary.
What's the difference between Slim, Advanced, and Valhalla?
Slim is the base framework: task management, quality gates, and built-in skills. Advanced adds multi-project coordination (PCAC) and additional skill packs. Valhalla adds a local Docker MCP server for agent memory, wikis, and database access.
Do I need a Gald3r account?
No. Gald3r is file-first. It lives in your repo alongside your code. There are no accounts, no logins, and no telemetry. Your data never leaves your machine unless you choose to push it.
Can I use Gald3r with my team?
Yes. Since gald3r is git-native, the .gald3r/ folder commits with your repo. Your team shares task state, decisions, and constraints automatically through version control.
